My Interest
When I was a
youngster in Ohio, a chance meeting
with an FCC field engineer sparked my interest in amateur radio. My dad
bought me a used Hallicrafters receiver, and over several nights I
discovered that the international broadcasting bands were full of crud,
with one exception. But what an exception! The BBC delivers the best
news and general-interest programming in the world. Most of the links
below have audio stream pointers.
