Hello friends. I'm Doggett.
   I was born in Greensburg, Indiana
       in 1915, on Tuesday, December 28,
the only child of Loren & Minnie Doles.

I grew up on a Greensburg farm and every Christmas was wonderful. On Christmas eve, after I went to bed, my mom and dad would decorate the tree and set up everything for Christmas morning.

In 1933, I graduated high school
and got a job at Dalmbert's department store. Later, I went to beauty school and worked as a beautician.

In 1941, I married Harry Doggett and we started a family. Today, our two daughters, Karen and Brenda ('Bobbie'), have one child each. Karen's daughter is Mandy and she has a daughter, Dusty. Bobbie's son is Taum and his wife is Donna and their first child is on the way.

Harry worked for the Indiana State Department and we enjoyed attending state functions. At our home, we entertained the state governor and even Richard Nixon.

Before Harry's passing in 1979, we loved to travel.
We saw much of the United States and enjoyed tropical climates in Hawaii, San Juan, and St. Thomas.

In addition to traveling, I always enjoyed shopping, cooking & baking, gardening, swimming as a kid, and spending time with my family and enjoying their lives and successes.
