For A FUNDRAISER do a slug-a-thon. Here's the slug-a-thon
form I use. Have your team members ask family and friends for a pledge and
tell them they can put a $5-$20 limit or no limit on the amount they may have
to pay. Collect all forms before the slug-a-thon. The coach fills in the amount
due, initials, makes copies and gives the athletes one week to collect and turn
in all money.
Another FUNDRAISER is to ask a business for a business card and make
an enlarged copy on the copy machine; then make an overhead transparency; then
have the students paint it on a 4' x 8' board and post it on your fence. We
drill 2 holes in each corner and use wire to hold them to the fence. Use this
ad form for customers.
Try this fun softball word puzzle and then test
your team.
