23 of 36. The view downstream from Jasper Canyon with the clouds continuing to build. After a quick stop at Jasper to view the ruins, we continued on to a sandbar above Water & Shot Canyons for our next camp. Ended up with a far amount of wind for the last 4 miles - at one point, blowing the raft back up river. No pictures from camp that night - too busy burying deadmen and sand anchors to tie off the tents before the rain started. Some thunder and lightning that night, but no heavy rains. Thunder wasn't nearly as loud as I'd experienced on my first trip while camped at the confluence.
