At 6:15 p.m. another group with two canoes showed up coming from the Lois Lake end of the trail. They say there is a bunch of windfalls and roots in the trail which is quite a change from the trail I'd been across up to this point.

| 19 of 23. Someone had a bad day once around here. There's the bow of an aluminum boat sticking straight up out of the driftwood at the lake outlet.
