I launched midway up Windsor Lake at a road access point that was chock full of campers in tent trailers at about 3:15 p.m. Christie from Mitchell's Canoe, Kayak, and Snowshoe provided the shuttle service and much of the trip beta. She was a wonderful contact and most helpful. I put some weight in the back with the remainder in the NRS Bill's Bag shoved under the forward thwart. This made it easy to shift it slightly to improve the balance. I used the Toksook as a canoe paddle (Lendel makes a T handle adapter for their kayak paddle shafts) because I wanted a double bladed paddle for backup for possible windy sections.
