Talking Tree Craft
Make a tree out of a small paper bag. Cut leaves out paper
(green, brown, yellow, orange, etc.). Glue it onto a big piece of paper
that will cover the bottom of the bag. (For younger children,
they can just cut one big piece of paper.) Add fruit to it using
colored paper, crayons, pencils, and/or markers. Add a tongue to
your tree
(where it opens on the bottom of the bag).
Dramatic Play: You can use your tree to tell or sing about your
choice of tree you learned about; its biome/environment; the country it
lives in; how your tree grows; what it needs to grow into a big,
strong, tree; what type of
animal(s) live(s) in your tree; what happens to you in the spring or
fall;
etc.
