Marsupials are mammals such as: kangaroos, koala bears, wombats,
bandicoots, opossums, and other animals that don't have a real
placenta. The females
usually have a pouch. The numbat is pouchless. Most
marsupials live in Australia. Some live near Austrailia, on
Tasmania and New Guinea. The Virginia Opossum is from North
America.
