darling little daughter,

Mommy saw you for the first time,

"In light of
the recent tragedy and flag shortage I created the
pencil flag. It was originally sent out via email only, but due
to the wonderful response, mostly from schools and daycares, my brother
Joe and I decided to create a website Pencil Flag. "This is a
free site and the pencil flag, according to the responses, seem to help
kids cope with the recent events by utilizing their creativity."
On their web site it states: "This flag is dedicated to all those who
lost their lives on September 11, 2001." They also have a free t-shirt
iron on and a window flag at their site.
