Cook vegetables. Cook rice. In a large saucepan, add tomato
sauce, vinegar,
brown sugar (or white sugar and molasses) water, vinegar, and
brown sugar.
Stir. Turn burner on. Add some water and mix. Add the
remaining water.
Let sauce come to a boil; stirring occasionally. Reduce heat and
let simmer
until sauce thickens; stirring occasionally. Add vegetables.
Turn heat off and
add the drained pineapple. Serve over rice.
