Pizza & Pizza Sauce

These pizza recipes can be made in a 9 x 13 inch cake pan instead of using a 12-inch pizza pan.
If you want to make cheese pizza, just add more cheese than what the basic pizza recipe calls for.

Pizza Sauce

8 ounces tomato sauce
3 teaspoons sugar
1/4 teaspoon oregano
1/8 teaspoon whole basil (grind it up with your fingers - about 2 pinches)

Combine all the ingredients.

Chicken Pizza

Make homemade pizza crust or calzones or any other type of crust. Follow for homemade or package
directions.  Make pizza sauce.  Grate 2 to 3 cups cheese (8 to 12 ounces of cheese.)  Cut or dice some
cooked chicken to make about 1 1/2 cups.  Mix 1 cup cream of chicken soup with some seasoning salt.
Spread the cream of chicken soup on the dough.  Top with some cheese.  Place chicken on top of the
cheese.  Top with vegetables until covered or the amount you desire; broccoli or other vegetables.  Top
with the remaining cheese.  Bake according to homemade pizza crust recipe or follow the directions on
the ready-to-make pizza crust package.  Makes 2 pizzas or calzones.   If making calzones, follow the
direction located at Calzones.

Ham Pizza

Make homemade pizza crust or calzones or any other type of crust. Follow for homemade or package
directions.  Make pizza sauce.  Grate 2 to 3 cups cheese (8 to 12 ounces of cheese.) Chop cooked ham
to make about 1 1/2 cups.  Spread the sauce on dough with a spoon. Top with some cheese.  Place ham
on top of the cheese.  Top with about 16 ounces of drained canned pineapple tidbits and then the remaining
cheese. Bake according to homemade pizza crust recipe or follow the directions on the ready-to-make pizza
crust package.  Makes 2 pizzas or calzones.  If making calzones, follow the direction located at
Calzones.

Hamburger Pizza

Make homemade pizza crust or calzones or any other type of crust. Follow for homemade or package
directions.  Make pizza sauce.  Grate 2 to 3 cups cheese (8 to 12 ounces of cheese.)   Brown 1 pound
of ground beef. Remove excess fat. Add some seasoning salt to the meat. Spread the sauce on the dough
with a spoon. Top with some cheese.  Place hamburger on top of the cheese. Top with the remaining
cheese.  Bake according to homemade pizza crust recipe or follow the directions on the ready-to-make
pizza crust package.  Makes 2 pizzas or calzones.  If making calzones, follow the direction located at
Calzones.
