Lasagna

2-48 ounce bottles or less Prego Pasta Sauce or Spaghetti Sauce (if you don't want to use as much, add water)
12 lasagna noodles (pre-soaked in water for about 2 hours)
1 pound ground beef
16 ounces cottage cheese
3 cups cheese or 16 ounces

Cook the ground beef in a frying pan.  Drain off excess fat.  Grate cheese.  Spoon some sauce into a 9x13 inch baking dish until it covers the bottom.  In a large bowl, stir the remaining sauce in with the meat and the cottage cheese.  Place 4 noodles on the sauce in the bottom of the baking dish.  Spread 1/3 of the meat mixture on top of noodles.  Sprinkle about 1 cup of cheddar cheese over the meat mixture.  Add another layer of 4 noodles, 1/3 of the meat mixture, and 1 cup of the cheese.  Layer remaining 4 noodles with meat mixture and cheddar cheese.  Cover baking dish with foil.  Bake in a 350 degree F. oven for about 45 minutes or until hot.  Remove from oven and let stand on a cooling rack with foil cover in place for 15 minutes.  Remove foil from dish.  Makes about 12 servings or more.
