Cheesy Barbecue Beef/Chicken/Turkey Noodles or Rice

4 1/2 cups egg noodles or 12 ounces pasta or 1 1/2 cups uncooked white rice
1 cup barbecue sauce or homemade barbecue sauce
1 cup water
3/4 pound ground beef or 1 1/2 to 2 cups cooked and diced chicken or turkey
2-15 ounce can corn (drained) or 4 cups frozen or fresh corn
6 to 8 ounces of cheese

Cook pasta in a pot; according to the directions on the package, drain.

Brown the meat.  Drain off the excess fat.  Cook corn if frozen or fresh and drain.  Add water,
barbecue sauce, and corn to a large saucepan.  Stir. Bring to a boil.  Stir in the noodles or rice.
Sprinkle with grated cheese and let the cheese melt.  Add the meat and stir.  Serve.
