Beef and Broccoli (or other meats)

This makes a lot.  You might want to make halve of this recipe (until I change it).

The Pratt Family Cookbook

1 tablespoon soy sauce
2 tablespoons white vinegar
3 cups water
1-10 3/4 ounce can tomato soup or 1 1/4 cups tomato sauce
3 tablespoons corn starch
3/4 cup brown sugar
or 3/4 cup white sugar and 1 1/2 tablespoons mild molasses
1 teaspoon garlic powder
2 cups cooked stewing meat or roast beef, pork, etc.
3 cups frozen or fresh chopped broccoli
2 1/2 cups uncooked white rice
10 ounces Pineapple (if desired)

Cook the rice.  Cook the broccoli.  In a large saucepan (or wok style pan), place corn starch.  Add
soy sauce, vinegar, water, and soup.  Mix until combined.  Add brown sugar (or white sugar and
molasses), and garlic powder.  Stir.  Turn burner on to about medium to medium-high.  Let sauce
thicken until somewhat thick.  Add meat and broccoli.  Stir.  Add pineapple (if desired).  Serve.
