Cherry Fruit Salad
1 - 16 ounce can crushed pineapple
8 ounces non-dairy whipped topping
21 ounces cherry pie filling or topping
1/2 cup or more cottage cheese
8 ounce strawberry or cherry yogurt

Mix all the above ingredients and serve.

Cranberry Gelatin Salad
Prepare 1 large and 1 small box of cranberry flavored gelatin as directed on package. Add 2 to 3 cups of shredded apple to flavored gelatin and set in a 9 x 13 pan.
Note: You can use other flavors of flavored gelatin to make this recipe.

Holiday Green Salad
(My Grandmother made this all the time. It is so delicious!)

1 - 6 ounce package or 2 - 3 ounce package lime flavored gelatin or other flavor (regular or sugar - free flavored gelatin)
2 - 15 ounce cans pears or 1 - 29 ounce can pears (natural fruit juices or light fruits)
1 - 8 ounce cream cheese (regular or light)
8 ounces non-dairy whipped topping (regular or light)
2 cups liquid (pear juice and water)

Boil liquid.  Stir in jello into the liquid until dissolved.  Puree pears in blender.  Add cream cheese and blend until smooth.  Add most of the flavored gelatin mixture.  Blend on the puree setting until smooth.  Add the rest of the liquid and puree.  Put mixture from blender into bowl and add non-dairy whipped topping.  Stir until smooth. Pour into 9 x 13 inche pan.  Let set over night or make early in the morning for dinner. Cut into squares and serve.

Orange Salad
(Another variation for the above recipe)
Substitute peaches for pears and use orange or peach gelatin instead of lime.

Gelatin Salad

1 - 6 ounce package package raspberry flavored gelatin or other flavor; according to season (regular or sugar-free flavored gelatin)
1 - 12 ounce can frozen raspberries, strawberries, mandarin oranges, or other fruits (natural fruit juices or light fruits)
1 - 20 ounce can crushed pineapple, drained
1 pint sour cream (regular or sour cream substitutes)
2 cups boiling water

Dissolve flavored gelatin in boiling water.  Add frozen berries, or other fruits and thaw them in flavored gelatin.  Add pineapple.  Pour half flavored gelatin mixture into 8x8 pan and place in refrigerator until set.  Spread sour cream over the set flavored gelatin and then add the remainder of the flavored gelatin mixture on top of the sour cream.  Let the flavored gelatin finish setting.  Cut into squares and serve.  Use the flavor of flavored gelatin that is best for the season.

Pistachio Fruit Salad

1 - 3.4 ounce package pistachio instant pudding mix
1 - 12 or 16 ounces non-dairy whipped topping (regular or light)
1 - 16 ounce can fruit cocktail or other fruits (natural fruit juices or light fruits)
1 - 16 ounce can crushed pineapple
1 package small marshmallows

Mix ingredients together.  Chill.  (Marshmallows are softer if chilled overnight or for a long period of time.)  You can make smaller or larger by deleting or adding non-dairy whipped topping, fruit, and marshmallows.

* Note: You can use all kinds of fruit - peaches, pears, etc. or you can just use the fruit cocktail.  Be creative.
