Pineapple Fried Rice

The Pratt Family Cookbook
2 cups uncooked white rice
2-2 1/4 cups broccoli or other vegetables
1 1/2 to 2 cups cooked and diced chicken, pork, ham or other meats
    Note: You can omit the meat and just add 2 cups of vegetables.
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
1/8 teaspoon nutmeg or cinnamon
1-20 ounce can pineapple
2 scrambled eggs (optional)
1/4 cup granulated or brown sugar (optional)
Water

Cook meat.  Cook rice.  Cook vegetables.  In a large non-stick pan, place cooked vegetables, meat, salt, allspice or nutmeg, garlic powder (optional), and scrambled eggs (optional).  Turn burner on to medium to medium-high.  Mix and let cook for a short amount of time.  Turn burner off.  Add rice and pineapple.  Stir.  Add water if it seems dry.  Serve.
