Maple Syrup

2 cups water
1 1/3 cups sugar
1 teaspoon imitation maple flavor
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

In a medium saucepan, add the water and sugar.  Let the sugar dissolve.  Add the
maple and vanilla.  Boil.  Reduce heat and simmer.  Serve over pancakes or waffles.
Store leftovers in the refrigerator.  Makes a little over 2 cups.
