Say (or the child), "I spy something up/down, etc ...".  Guess what it is.

Over Theme
Nursery Rhymes & Physical Education
Nursery Rhyme Theme: Jack Be Nimble  You can make a candlestick craft and the activity is jumping over the candlestick.

Physical Education
Place a piece of tape, string/yarn, jump rope, a box, etc. on the ground.  Have the child jump, walk, etc. "over" it.

Stop/Go Theme
Physical Education
 Game: Red Light, Green Light
 Activity: Have the child/ren run in place.  Ask them to stop, then go.  Repeat.  You can have them skip, hop, run, etc. around in open space.

Music/Physical Education
- Musical Freeze Game: Play some music.  Have everyone move/dance around the room.  When you stop the music, say, "Stop!".  When you start the music, say, "Go!".  Repeat.
- Musical Chairs: Place one less chair than children/adults you have.  Play some music.  Stop the music.  Have everyone try to find an open chair.  If you can't find a chair then you are out.  Repeat the game.
- Musical Instruments: Give each child a musical instrument.  (You can musical crafts before you do this activity.)  Have the child/ren play the instrument(s) until you say stop and then ask them to go.  Repeat.
- Musical Bodies: Have the child/ren clap, stomp their feet on the groud, and/or touch various body parts (head, shoulders, legs, etc.) until you say "Stop!" and then ask them to "Go!".  Have them clap, stomp, or touch another body part.  Repeat.

Nursery Rhyme: Once I saw a little bird (stop)

Under Theme
Have two children hold a jump rope (or yarn/string).  Go under it.
