Hear a duck quack (au).  Quack like ducks (you can put your hands under your arm pits).
Here is how people in different countries imitate the duck.  Make those sounds.

Game
Duck, Duck, Goose
Have the children sit in a circle facing each other.  Have one child be "it".  Have that child go around the circle soflty touching each child (or adult) on the head.  Have them say, "Duck" (as many times has he or she likes on different people) and then "goose".  The "it", needs to run around the outside of the circle and the person that is the "goose" needs to try to catch the one person before they sit back down in the circle (where the "goose" was).  If "goose" catches the "it", that person needs to do it again.  If the "goose" doesn't catch the "it", he or she is the the next "it" person.  (The best way to teach this game is to show the children how the game works and then they can do it after that.)  Repeat the game.

Music & Art
Use a duck coloring page.  Make one large mother duck and reduce the size to make a smaller duck pattern.  Cut the mother duck and 5 smaller ducks out of white construction paper.  Color the ducks the color you want them to be and color the bill.  Make eyes and wings.  Tape craft sticks on the back of each duck.

Use this puppets for Five Little Ducks. Have each child hold a duck as the song is sung.  You can also make a place to put all the ducks (in a box, poster board, etc).  Make 6 slits (far enough away so they are all in a row) and place the mother duck in the first slit (on the right hand side and the smaller duck behind her.

Duck Paper Bag Puppet
Use a small paper bag.  Cut a white, yellow, blue, green (or other colors for a duck) piece of construction paper to be about 9x5" (or the size of the paper bag).  Glue it on the bottom part of the flap.  Cut a piece to be 3x5".  Glue it on the top part of the paper bag.  Make 2 bills to be about 2 inches wide and 3 inches long. Make it a rounded off triangle on the bottom.  Glue an inch of it onto the bottom part of the top of the bag and second one right under the other bill under the flap.  Make two small eyes and make pupils on them.  Glue above the bill.
